SIGNAL MARKS FOR DANGEROUS GOODS.

Environmental hazardous substance
Packages containing substances hazardous to the environment, must be marked, so durable, as "substances hazardous to the environment", with the exception of containers / packaging simple and combination packagings containing packages interior capacity:
not exceeding 5 l for liquids
not exceeding 5 kg for solids.
Its dimensions shall be 100 mm x 100 mm, except in the case of packages of such dimensions that they can smaller brands
Limited quantities for air transport
New 2011 marking ADR for packages containing dangerous goods in limited quantities for air transport. This mark is also valid for transport by road
Limited quantities for road transport
New 2011 marking ADR for packages containing dangerous goods in limited quantities, except for air transport (the same brand but with a "Y").
Orientation arrows
Must be placed in two opposite vertical sides of the package and indicate the correct upright.
Must appear within a rectangular frame and dimensioned that is clearly visible with the size of the package.
They can also be surrounded by a rectangular shape.
Two black or red arrows on a white background or another color that provides contrast.
The rectangular border is optional.
Subtances transported at elevated temperature
Tank vehicles, tank containers, portable tanks, special vehicles or containers or vehicles or containers specially prepared, for which a mark is required for elevated temperature substances under special provision 580 as is indicated in column (6) table A of Chapter 3.2 shall, on each side and the rear vehicle in the case, and on all four sides in the case of containers, tank containers or portable tanks, a triangular shaped mark with sides of at least 250 mm, to be shown in red.
